Have you put a lot of thought into what you’re going to do for your father? There are so many choices, but how about doing something really clever?
Does he like sports? How about getting tickets to go to the game together? That way it’s like to gifts in one. First the gift of the ticket then to spend the day together. He’ll love it.
Does your dad enjoy fishing? Why not arrange a day for the two of you to go out on a boat and spend the day fishing?
How about golf? The two of you can spend a great day out on the golf course and enjoy being out side together.
Is there a a specific movie he enjoys? You can buy the movie for him so he can watch it over and over again. Every time he watches it, he’ll remember you gave it to him.
How about a new barbecue? If he enjoys cooking he’ll appreciate having a new one to BBQ all summer weekend.
You could also cook him his favorite dinner. Pamper him with a massage or his favorite dessert.
The main things father’s enjoy is spending time with their children. So be sure to do more than just call him, create a special day for him so he knows how much you appreciate all he has done for you.
